The authors use the notion of common limit range property (see, e.g., \textit{K. P. R. Rao} et al. [Hacet. J. Math. Stat. 37, No. 2, 97--106 (2008; Zbl 1190.54036)]) for two hybrid pairs of mappings in fuzzy metric spaces in order to prove common fixed point theorems in which these mappings satisfy an implicit relation. Their results extend some known results of \textit{M. Imdad} and \textit{M. A. Ahmed} [Math. Slovaca 62, No. 2, 301--314 (2012; Zbl 1267.54045)] and \textit{S. Chauhan} et al. [J. Inequal. Appl. 2013, Article ID 182, 17 p. (2013; Zbl 1282.54036)]. Some examples are also furnished.
