Normaloid operators are Hilbert space operators for which the operator norm is equal to the spectral radius. Commutativity theorems of Putnam-Fuglede type \((\delta_{A,B})^{-1}(0)\subseteq (\delta_{A^*, B^*})^{-1}(0)\) and \((\Delta_{A,B}-1)^{-1}(0)\subseteq (\Delta_{A^*,B^*}-1 )^{-1}(0)\) do not hold true for all normaloid operators \(A,B\in{\mathcal B}({\mathcal H})\), where \(\delta_{A,B}(X):=AX-XB\) and \(\Delta_{A,B}(X):=AXB\) for every \(X\in{\mathcal B}({\mathcal H})\). However, in the paper under review, several commutativity theorems of the form \((\delta_{A,\lambda B})^{-1}(0)\subseteq (\delta_{A^*,\bar\lambda B^*})^{-1}(0)\) and \((\Delta_{A,B}-\lambda)^{-1}(0)\subseteq (\Delta_{A^*,B^*}-\bar\lambda )^{-1}(0)\) are studied for complex numbers \(\lambda\) and normaloid operators \(A\) and \(B\) with suitable properties.
