In the paper multivariate fractal interpolation functions for continuous functions are constructed. The parameters are selected, such that the fractal function preserves some of the original function's properties. For instance if the given function is Hölder continuous, than the corresponding fractal function is also Hölder. Moreover the box dimension and Hausdorff dimension of the graph of the fractal interpolation function is studied.
