The theory of deformation quantization of a Poisson manifold \(M\) is often formulated by means of an associative algebra multiplication structure, called \(\ast\)-product, on the space \(C^{\infty}\left( M\right) [[\hbar]]\) of formal power series over the commutative algebra \(C^{\infty}\left( M\right) \). In the case of Kähler manifolds \(M\), \textit{A. V. Karabegov} [Commun. Math. Phys. 180, No. 3, 745--755 (1996; Zbl 0866.58037)] initiated the construction of deformation quantization with separation of variables, which has the characteristic feature that \(a\ast f=af\) and \(f\ast b=fb\) for all holomorphic functions \(a\), anti-holomorphic functions \(b\), and smooth functions \(f\). Based on their previous work [Int. J. Mod. Phys. 20, No. 07, Article ID 2350109, (2023; \url{https://doi.org/10.1142/S0219887823501098})] for two-dimensional symmetric Kähler manifolds, the authors present a concrete example of a noncommutative two-dimensional complex projective space with an explicit description of the \(\ast\)-product on \(C^{\infty}\left( \mathbb{C}P^{2}\right) [[\hbar]]\), and show that this \(\ast\)-product is consistent with an earlier result of the first author et al. [J. Phys., Conf. Ser. 442, Article ID 012052, 10 p. (2013; \url{doi:10.1088/1742-6596/442/1/012052})] on noncommutative \(\mathbb{C}P^{N}\) and \(\mathbb{C}H^{N}\).
