This article presents extensions of previously known results, with a significant portion of them focusing on geometric aspects of Yang-Mills theory. More precisely, the paper describes refinements of stability properties of Yang-Mills fields and harmonic maps in Yang-Mills theory and differential geometry, respectively. Such stability properties have played a significant role in geometry and physics in the past four decades. The article is well-written and contains detailed proofs of the main results that can be easily understood even by non-specialists. The first two sections provide an excellent overview of the state of the art of the field and serve as a starting point for reading the main part of the article (Sections 3 and 4). The primary result of the paper is Theorem 1.3, which, as the author mentions, is an improvement of previously established results for harmonic maps and Yang-Mills connections.
