Let \(R\) be a Noetherian local ring. A finitely generated \(R\)-module \(M\) is said to be maximal Cohen-Macaulay if \(\text{depth}\,M=\dim R\). We say that \(R\) has finite Cohen-Macaulay type if there are only finitely many indecomposable maximal Cohen-Macaulay modules up to isomorphism. In the paper under review, the author constructs examples of two dimensional mixed characteristic rings of finite Cohen-Macaulay type and for a large subclass of these examples gives a complete description of its indecomposable maximal Cohen-Macaulay modules. He also computes its AR-quiver.
