The author is concerned with the properties of the Poisson integral associated to the operator \[ D_\alpha u:=y^{-\alpha}\bigg(\frac{\partial^2 u}{\partial x_1^2}+\frac{\partial^2 u}{\partial x_2^2}+\dots+\frac{\partial^2 u}{\partial x_n^2}+\frac{\partial^2 u}{\partial y^2}-\frac{\alpha}{y} \frac{\partial u}{\partial y}\bigg) \] on the half space in dimension \(n+1\). The optimal class of tempered distributions that can be extended to generalized axially symmetric potentials is determined.
