The authors introduce families of Laguerre-Gould Hopper based Appell polynomials employing concepts and methods associated with the monomiality principle, and study their properties. In particular, connections between these families and known special polynomials are established and then used to derive identities for members of this new family. Moreover, determinantal definitions of the polynomials associated with the Appell family are derived.
