A center \(p\) in the phase portrait of a planar system of differential equations is \textit{isochronous} if the period function defined on orbits in the period annulus is constant. If for every point \(q\) in the period annulus it is also true that the angular velocity of the position vector \(\overrightarrow{pq}\) is constant then the center \(p\) is said to be \textit{uniform isochronous} or \textit{rigid}. In this work the authors extend and correct earlier work on the phase portraits on the Poincaré sphere of cubic and quartic uniform isochronous centers. In addition to completing the classification of all possible phase portraits of such systems they also give an improved normal form for the cubic case, along with a simplified list of first integrals.
