Let \(X\) be a smooth variety with a regular function \(W: X\to \mathbb{A}^1\), \(G\) be a group acting on \(X\) such that \(W\) is invariant. Such data is called a gauged LG model. One can associate a triangulated category \(Dcoh_G(X,W)\), called derived factorization category, which is useful in Homological Mirror symmetry conjecture for non Calabi-Yau varieties (see e.g. [\textit{D. Orlov}, Mat. Contemp. 41, 75--112 (2012; Zbl 1297.14019)]). In particular, when \(W=0\) and \(G=\mathbb{C}^*\) which acts trivially on \(X\), \(Dcoh_G(X,W)\cong D^bcoh(X)\) recovers the bounded derived category of coherent sheaves on \(X\). Hence it is desirable to expect similarities between \(D^bcoh(X)\) and \(Dcoh_G(X,W)\). In this paper, the author proved equivalences between derived factorization categories of certain gauged LG models can be derived from equivalences of derived categories of the underlying smooth quasi-projective varieties. In particular, when combined with \textit{T. Bridgeland}'s work [Invent. Math. 147, No. 3, 613--632 (2002; Zbl 1085.14017)], it has the following interesting application: Let \(X\), \(X^+\) are two smooth quasi-projective 3-folds which are related by a flop \(X\overset{f}{\to} Y \overset{f^+}{\leftarrow} X^+\), let \(G\) be a reductive affine algebraic group acting on \(X\), \(X^+\) preserving the flop. Take a semi invariant regular function \(W_Y : Y\to \mathbb{A}^1\), and set \(W := f^*W_Y\) and \(W_+ := (f^+)^*W_Y\). Then we have an equivalence of categories \(Dcoh_G(X,W)\cong Dcoh_G(X^+,W^+)\).
