The authors are concerned with proving a principle of linearised stability around an equilibrium point for certain nonlinear convolution-type Volterra equations in a real Banach space. There are two main results of the paper and these assume the existence of a resolvent-differential and are based on positivity and accretivity properties of the kernel and resolvent of the equation.
