This paper deals with an uniqueness criterion for higher-order nonlinear differential equations of the form \[ \frac{\partial^{n}}{\partial y^{n}}=p\left(x,y,u,\frac{\partial u}{\partial y},\dots, \frac{\partial^{n-1}}{\partial y^{n-1}}\right)+q(x,y),\quad (x,y)\in\Omega=[0,a]\times[0,b], \leqno{(1)} \] subject to the linear boundary conditions \[ h_{i}(u(x,.))(x)=c_{i}(x),\quad i=1,2,\dots,n, \leqno{(2)} \] where \(p:\Omega\times\mathbb{R}^{n}\rightarrow\mathbb{R}\), \(q:\Omega\times\mathbb{R}\rightarrow\mathbb{R}\) and \(c_{i}:[0,a]\rightarrow\mathbb{R}\) are continuous functions, \(h_{i}:C^{n-1}[0,b]\rightarrow C[0,a]\), \((i=1,2,\dots,n)\) are bounded linear operators. Making use of the counterpart of the first Fredholm theorem, a uniqueness criterion for continuously depending on a parameter solutions of the nonlinear boundary value problem (1)--(2) is presented.
