In the tradition inaugurated by Schläfli, relying on a method devloped by \textit{I. Kh. Sabitov} [Sib. Èlektron. Mat. Izv. 10, 615--626 (2013; Zbl 1330.51016)], the author provides a very long formula for computing the volune of a hyperbolic \(4\)-simplex in terms of the coordinates of its vertices. It turs out that the computation can be reduced to that of one-dimensional integrals of elementary functions of the coordinates of its vertices. It is also shown that such a calculation is impossible in the case of the \(5\)-dimensional hyperbolic simplex.
