The authors study the \(N\)-dimensional non-steady compressible isentropic Euler equations for generalized Chaplygin gas. Initial data have a compact support. The main result is finite time blow-up of the \(C^1\)-solution provided that the initial momentum is high enough and the initial quantity is positive.
