Obstructions for symplectic Lie algebroids (Q2217980): Difference between revisions

This paper studies the obstructions to the existence of a symplectic structure on a Lie algebroid and to their underlying Poisson structures. First, the author recalls some important results about algebroids. Then, he obtains obstructions through the characteristic classes of the associated symplectic groupoids. The characteristic classes are also computed for several specific Lie algebroids.
