Applying some arguments and theorems of \textit{G. Bonanno} and \textit{P. Candito} [J. Differ. Equations 244, No. 12, 3031--3059 (2008; Zbl 1149.49007)], the authors establish several lists of sufficient conditions for the existence of at least three anti-periodic solutions with a given anti-period for the difference equation \[(-1)^n \Delta^n\left[r_{t-n}\phi_p\left(\Delta^nu_{t-n}\right)\right] = \lambda f\left(t,u_{t+1},u_t,u_{t-1}\right),\] where \(\phi_p\) denotes the \(p\)-Laplacian operator, giving a special attention to the case of \(f\) being independent of \(u_{t+1}\) and \(u_{t-1}\). The applicability of the results is illustrated by an example.
