From the mathematical point of view, a magnetic system is a pair composed of a Riemannian metric and a smooth function and both, the metric and the function, are usually defined over a closed oriented surface. This construction enables a series of interesting mathematical issues to be analyzed. Tha paper investigates integrable magnetic systems on the two-torus and relevant results arise from the investigation. Results are presented in a technical fashion, but remarks and discussions on the results and proofs are performed. Along the text several remarks are made resulting in a rich and solid text.
