The authors study Hausdorff dimensional properties of spectral measures of Schrodinger operators \[ (Hu)(x)=-\frac{d^2u}{dx^2}(x)+V(x)u(x) \] acting in \(L^2[0,b]\), \(0<b<\infty\). The potentials \(V(x)\) are signed combs of delta distributions carefully spaced in \([0,b]\) and accumulating only at \(b\). The boundary condition at \(0\) is \[ u(0)\cos(\varphi)+u'(0)\sin(\varphi)=0, \] with \(\varphi\in[0,2\pi)\) fixed. The main contribution of the paper is to compute the Hausdorff dimensions of their spectral measures. According to the authors, they constructed the first examples, in bounded intervals, of singular continuous Schrodinger operators with computable dimensions.
