It is well known that a vector field \(X\) generating a contact Anosov flow has a band structure for its Ruelle resonances [\textit{F. Faure} and \textit{M. Tsujii}, C. R., Math., Acad. Sci. Paris 351, No. 9--10, 385--391 (2013; Zbl 1346.37030)]. Here the authors give a new proof of the existence of the first band for 3-dimensional case. The proof is based on unstable derivatives and semiclassical measures in the spirit of paper by \textit{S. Dyatlov} [Ann. Inst. Fourier 66, No. 1, 55--82 (2016; Zbl 1350.35023)]. They also obtain the polynomial bounds in \(s\) for the resolvent \({(-X-s)^{-1}}\) as \({|\mathrm{Im}(s)|\to\infty}\) in some anisotropic Sobolev spaces. Similar results for cases with a potential are presented as well.
