The authors present analogues of Clarkson-McCarthy inequalities for \(n\)-tuples of operators from Schatten ideals that supplement the results of \textit{E. Kissin} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 135, No. 8, 2483--2495 (2007; Zbl 1140.47005)] for parameters that take values in the regions in \(\mathbb{R}\) different from the regions considered in the paper of Kissin. As an application, they get some norm inequalities for partitioned operators and for Cartesian decomposition of operators. In addition, they extend some results of \textit{T. Formisano} and \textit{E. Kissin} [Integral Equations Oper. Theory 79, No. 2, 151--173 (2014; Zbl 1310.46016)] for certain sequences in Schatten ideals.
