The theory of Koszul-Vinberg manifolds, which are characterized by constraints similar to contravariant pseudo-Hessian structures, provides a bridge between Poisson geometry and pseudo-Riemannian geometry. This work concerns the role of submanifolds in Koszul-Vinberg Geometry which are the analogues of Poisson submanifolds. It turns out that such Koszul-Vinberg manifold in some sense is the union of families of affine leaves. The authors also introduce the notion of coisotropic Koszul-Vinberg submanifold which is an analogue of coisotropic submanifolds in Poisson geometry.
