The paper considers affine hypersurfaces equipped with an almost symplectic structure \(\omega\) which satisfies some parallelism condition with respect to the affine connection \(\nabla\) determined by a transversal equiaffine vector field. In a previous paper, the author proved that for even-dimensional hypersurfaces with positive definite second fundamental form, the condition \(\nabla^k\omega=0\) or \(R^k\omega=0\), for some positive integer \(k\), where \(R\) denotes the curvature tensor of \(\nabla\), implies that \(\nabla\) is flat. In the present paper, the author considers even-dimensional hypersurfaces with Lorentzian second fundamental form. He proves that if \(\nabla^k\omega=0\) or \(R^k\omega=0\), then the shape operator \(S\) must have a very special form. In particular, the rank of \(S\) must be at most 1 if the dimension of the hypersurface is at least 6.
