The purpose of this paper is to present equilibrium existence theorems for economies with infinitely many agents and commodities in a fairly general framework. The structure of the model discussed here includes overlapping generation economies with infinitely many producers. The method of the existence proof is new and direct in the sense that the fixed point argument is applied directly to the inverse limit space of prices. It is unfortunate, however, that its relevance to reality does not look quite clear.
