Let \(\mathbb{F}_q\) be a finite field, \({\mathcal O} = \mathbb{F}_q[[\pi]]\) and \({\mathcal O}_r = \mathbb{F}_q[[\pi]]/\pi^r\). Let \(\mathbb{G}\) be a connected reductive scheme defined over \(\mathcal{O}\). Let \(G\) be the Weil restriction of \(\mathbb{G}\) for the extension \(\mathbb{F}_q \subset \mathcal{O}_r\) and let \(F\) be the associated geometric Frobenius endomorphism, such that \[ G(\overline{\mathbb{F}}_q) \simeq \mathbb{G}(\overline{\mathbb{F}}_q[[\pi]]/\pi^r) \text{ and } G(\overline{\mathbb{F}}_q)^F \simeq \mathbb{G}({\mathcal O}_r). \] By Lang-Steinberg theorem, every element in \(G\) can be written as \(h^{-1}F(h)\) for some \(h\) in \(G\). One considers the function \[ h^{-1}F(h) \mapsto F(h)h^{-1} \] on the set of conjugacy classes in \(G^F\) (which is well-defined). It induced a linear map on the complex space of class functions on \(G^F\), denoted \(Sh_G\) refering to work of Shintani. The main result of this paper is that the characters of the action of \(G^F\) on some compactly-supported \(\ell\)-adic cohomology spaces, generalising Deligne-Lusztig theory, are invariant by \(Sh_G\). These representations somehow interpolate between the representations defined by \textit{G. Lusztig} [Represent. Theory 8, 1--14 (2004; Zbl 1085.20029)] and \textit{P. Gerardin} [Construction de séries discretes p-adiques. Sur les séries discretes non ramifiees des groupes reductifs deployes p-adiques. Berlin-Heidelberg-New York: Springer-Verlag (1975; Zbl 0302.22002)].
