Quadratic spline collocation methods for elliptic partial differential equations (Q1343040): Difference between revisions

The author formulates and studies biquadratic spline collocation methods for solving second-order linear elliptic partial differential equations subject to mixed boundary conditions. The convergence properties and error estimates of these methods are studied and optimal methods on uniform meshes are derived. The obtained numerical results verify the theoretical behaviour of the studied methods and show their effectiveness from the computational point of view.
