The authors introduce a Kantorovich variant of modified Bernstein Operators. Some auxiliary results are presented along with a Korovkin-type theorem, rate of convergence of the operators with the help of the modulus of continuity and Peetre's K-functionals. Also, a global approximation result in terms of Ditzian-Totik uniform modulus of smoothness is established.
