Let \(V\) be a vector space of dimension \(n\) over a finite field \(\mathbb{F}\). An arrangement of hyperplanes \({\mathcal A}=\{H_1,\dots,H_k\}\) of \(V\) is said to be in general position if for every \(j\in\{1,\dots,e\}\), the dimension of the intersection of any \(j\) hyperplanes of \(\mathcal A\) has codimension \(j\) in \(V\), where \(e:=\min(n,k)\). Let \(\rho:G\to\text{Gl}(V)\) be a representation of a finite group \(G\) over \(\mathbb{F}\), \(\mathbb{F}[V]\) the graded \(\mathbb{F}\)-algebra of homogeneous polynomial functions on \(V\), and \(F[V]^G\) the \(\mathbb{F}\)-subalgebra of invariants under the action of \(G\) on \(V\). In this paper the authors investigate several such actions of \(G\) on \(V\) associated to an arrangement \(\mathcal A\) of hyperplanes of \(V\) in general position, and compute explicitly the corresponding \(\mathbb{F}\)-algebras of invariants.
