Es wird eine Konstruktion für (bis auf Isomorphie) alle fahnentransitiven (d.h. die Kollineationsgruppe operiert transitiv auf den inzidenten Punkte-Geraden-Paaren) endlichen affinen Ebenen hergeleitet, die aus Kongruenzen (spreads) von PG(3,q) für eine ungerade Primzahlpotenz q hervorgehen; eine Kongruenz ist dabei eine Menge von \(q^ 2+1\) paarweise windschiefen Geraden des 3-dimensionalen projektiven Raumes \(\Sigma =PG(3,q)\) über GF(q). Wesentliches Hilfsmittel dabei ist eine Klasseneinteilung von \(\Sigma\), die aus \(q+1\) Ovoiden besteht.
