A coincidence point of a pair of mappings is an element at which these mappings take on the same value. In the present paper the authors prove two independent criteria for the existence of coincidence points of mappings that act from a partially ordered space to an arbitrary set (Theorem 2 and Theorem 3). Some conditions for the stability of a coincidence point of two mappings for their perturbations are given.
