    Define, for a continuous real function \(g(x)\), \(G(x)=\int^ x_ 0g(s)ds\), \(\tau_ g(x)=\sqrt 2\left|\int^ 2_ 0{ds\over\sqrt{G(x)-G(s)}}\right|\), \(\tau^ \pm(g)=\limsup_{x\to\pm\infty}\tau_ g(x)\), \(\tau_ \pm(g)=\liminf_{x\to\pm\infty}\tau_ g(x)\). If \(\lim_{| x|\to\infty}g(x)\text{sgn}(x)=+\infty\) and either \(\tau_ - (g)+\tau^ +(g)>\tau\) or \(\tau^ -(g)+\tau_ +(g)>T\), then the problem \(x''+g(x)=p(t)\), \(x(T)=x(0)\), \(x'(T)=x'(0)\) has at least one solution for every integrable function \(p\).
