The authors solve a Wick-type (or white noise-type) stochastic Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation \[ (U_t+H_1(t)\diamond U\diamond U_x+H_2(t)\diamond U_{xxx})_x+H_3(t)\diamond U_{yy}+H_4(t)\diamond U_{rr}=0 \] in the space \(({\mathcal S}({\mathbb R}))^*\) of Hida distributions. Here, \(\diamond\) denotes the Wick product and \(H_i(t)=h_i(t)+a_iW(t)\), \(i=1,\dots,4\), where \(h_i\) are known deterministic functions and \(W\) is a Gaussian white noise. This equation is transformed with the help of the Hermite transformation into an equation with Wick products replaced by usual products of complex-valued functions, and the solution of the latter equation permits to retrieve a solution of the original one.
