Chua's circuit with quadratic and cubic nonlinearity is stabilized using a state feedback. As six parameters are unknown, the stabilization is adaptive. A Lyapunov function approach, the Bolzano-Weierstrass theorem and center manifold theory are used to prove the convergence of both the chaotic system and the adaptive parameter estimator.
