A fuzzy matrix has its elements in the unit interval, and it is a representation of a (finite) binary fuzzy relation. The operations of fuzzy matrices are defined related to those operations of fuzzy relations. The author investigates the properties of \(n{\times}n\) fuzzy matrices under the composition of triangular norms (shortly, \(t\)-norms) and triangular conorms (shortly, \(t\)-conorms). He establishes some theoretical necessary and sufficient conditions for the power sequence of fuzzy matrices to be convergent in the sense of max-\(T\), where \(T\) is an upper semicontinuous \(t\)-norm. In fact, all of the commonly used product-type triangular norms are upper semicontinuous \(t\)-norms, and the results of the reviewed paper are generalizations of those in the sense of max-min.
