An almost contact metric manifold \((M,\varphi,\xi,g)\) is said to be trans-Sasakian if the natural almost-Hermitian structure induced on \(M\times{\mathbb R}\) is locally conformally Kähler [\textit{J. A. Oubina}, Publ. Math. 32, 187-193 (1985; Zbl 0611.53032)]. The author proves that a \((\varphi,J)\)-holomorphic map \(f\) from a trans-Sasakian manifold \((M,\varphi,\xi,g)\) into a nearly-Kähler manifold \((N,J,h)\) is harmonic (\(f\) being called ``\((\varphi,J)\)-holomorphic'' if \(f_{\ast}\circ\varphi=J\circ f_{\ast}\)). The stability property of such a map \(f\) is also discussed when \(M\) is compact and \(N\) is Kähler.
