The author uses the subresultant theorem of Habicht to prove formulas for subresultants of polynomial composition. These results were obtained previously by \textit{H. Hong} [J. Symb. Comput. 23, 355-365 (1997; Zbl 0872.68072)] using Collins' fundamental theorem of PRS. These formulas are generalizations of \(\text{res} (f \circ h, g \circ h) = [ \text{lc} (h)^{mn} \text{res} (f,g)]^k\), where \(\text{res} (f,g)\) is the resultant of \(f\) and \(g\), \(\text{lc}(h)\) is the leading coefficient of \(h\), and \(f, g, h\) are univariate polynomials over an integral domain of degrees \(m, n\) and \(k\), respectively.
