Clusters minimizing area plus length of singular curves (Q1337529): Difference between revisions

We give existence and regularity results on clusters of prescribed volumes minimizing surface area plus length of singular curves, as in metals. For small volumes the solution is not a real cluster, but separate spheres. Many open questions remain.
