In this investigation, the authors develop an algorithm and its Monte Carlo implementation with allowance for polarization scattered radiation in the atmosphere. Simultaneously with the simulation of polarized radiation observations, they simulated radiative transfer without allowance for polarization. The results showed that the radiation intensity is hardly affected by polarization for pure aerosol scattering, while, for molecular scattering, the difference between the polarized and scalar radiation intensities can reach 10\% at zero albedo.
