Let \(K\) be a totally real cubic number field with the ring of integers \(\mathcal{O}_K\). The present paper studies indecomposable integers in orders \(\mathcal{O}\subset \mathcal{O}_K\) of \(K\) in relation to elements in the \textit{codifferent} \(\mathcal{O}^{\vee}\), where \(\mathcal{O}^{\vee}=\{\alpha \in K\mid \mathrm{Tr}_{K/\mathbb{Q}}(\alpha\mathcal{O})\subseteq \mathbb{Z}\}\), and an integer \(\alpha \in \mathcal{O}\) is said to be \textit{indecomposable} if it is totally positive and is not a sum of two totally positive integers of \(\mathcal{O}\). Contrary to real quadratic number fields, it is proved that for every natural number \(n\), there exists a totally real cubic unit \(\rho\) and an indecomposable integer \(\alpha \in \mathbb{Z}[\rho]\) such that \(\min\{\mathrm{Tr}_{K/\mathbb{Q}}(\alpha\delta)\mid \delta \in \mathbb{Z}[\rho]^{\vee},\: \delta \text{ is totally positive}\}>n\). In addition, for the simplest cubic number fields, defined by \(x^3-ax^2-(a+3)x-1 \in \mathbb{Z}[x]\), Theorem 1.2 gives sharp upper bounds for the norms of indecomposable integers.
