In this paper, the authors introduce the Orlicz-type space associated with the Gegenbauer differential operator and prove that such Orlicz-type spaces are Banach function spaces. Moreover, necessary and sufficient conditions are given to guarantee the validity of weak and strong type inequalities for fractional maximal functions and fractional integrals on such Orlicz-type spaces.
