    Let \(H=-\Delta+V\) be a Schrödinger operator in \({\mathbb R}^3\) with real-valued potential \(V\) such that \(H\) admits no eigenfunction or resonance at zero energy. The authors found scaling invariant condition on \(V\) under which the following structure formula for the intertwining wave operators \(W_\pm\) associated with the pair \((-\Delta + V, -\Delta)\) holds \[(W_+ f)(x)=f(x)+\int\limits_{{\mathbb S}^2} \int\limits_{{\mathbb R}^3} g(x,dy,\omega)f(S_\omega x-y)d\omega, \] where \(S_\omega x= x-2(x\cdot\omega)\omega\) is a reflection, \(g(x, y, \omega)\in L^1_\omega {\mathcal M}_y L^1_x\) (\({\mathcal M}_y\) means the Borel measures on Euclidean space). A similar result holds for \(W_-\).
