Let \(S\) be a connected orientable surface of infinite type endowed with an upper bounded hyperbolic metric. Let \(G_k(S)\) be a family of graphs with \(k\in \mathbb{N}\cup \left\{0,\infty\right\}\) constructed from multicurves (unions of mutually disjoint essential simple closed curves up to homotopy). The paper concentrates on \(G_{\infty}(S)\) whose vertices are multicurves \(\mu\subset S\) such that the supremum of the lengths of the curves in \(\mu\) and the supremum of the complexities of the components of \(S\setminus \mu\) are both finite, and \(G'_{0}(S)\) whose vertices are pants decompositions of \(S\) and which is an analog of the pants complex for infinite type surfaces. The author first proves that \(G_{\infty}(S)\) has finite diameter generalizing a result of \textit{A. Fossas} and \textit{H. Parlier} [Ann. Acad. Sci. Fenn., Math. 40, No. 2, 793--801 (2015; Zbl 1331.57003)] which holds for infinite type surfaces with exactly two non-planar ends. Then he gives an analog of a result by \textit{D. Margalit} [Duke Math. J. 121, No. 3, 457--479 (2004; Zbl 1055.57024)] for \(G'_{0}(S)\) which states that the group of simplicial automorphisms of the pants complex coincides with the extended mapping class group. More precisely, he proves that the group of label preserving automorphims of \(G'_{0}(S)\) is isomorphic to the extended mapping class group of \(S\).
