A measure on infinite self-avoiding random walks on \({\mathbb{Z}}^ d\) is defined which is the limit of the uniform measure on finite self-avoiding walks. It is shown that this limit exists for walks with d sufficiently large using methods of \textit{G. Slade} [Commun. Math. Phys. 110, 661-683 (1987; Zbl 0628.60073)] and \textit{D. Brydges} and \textit{T. Spencer} [ibid. 97, 125-148 (1985; Zbl 0575.60099)].
