The authors consider canonical maps of multiply connected domains. In the classical book [Conformal mapping. New York etc.: McGraw-Hill Book Company, Inc. (1952; Zbl 0048.31503)] by \textit{Z. Nehari}, five canonical maps like that are considered. They investigate numerical methods that are suitable to approximate such mappings. Integral equation methods are used in the process.
