Homogeneous star products (Q835662): Difference between revisions

Firstly one gives some definitions and results concerning the homogeneous star products of type \(k>0\). In section 2 of the note the author investigates the case \(k\geq 2\): that means, for \(k>2\) the homogeneous star products are equivalent to trivial star products and homogeneous star products of type 2 are equivalent to Moyal star products. The author also studies the homogeneous star products of type 1 and section 3 of the paper is a review with simple proofs of some results of Ben Amar, Chaabouni, Dito and Arnal. In the case \(k=1\) a typical example is the star product associated to the canonical Poisson bracket on the dual of a Lie algebra. As examples the author gives the star product of \textit{S. Gutt} [Lett. Math. Phys. 7, 249--258 (1983; Zbl 0522.58019)] and the construction of \textit{M. Kontsevich} [Lett. Math. Phys. 66, No.~3, 157--216 (2003; Zbl 1058.53065)].
