Dynamics of chemical reactions following the mass action law (Gulberg-Waage law) is introduced as a model for investigating geometry of non-equilibrium thermodynamics. Two examples are detailed. The first uses reaction fluxes as new state variables, the second one takes fluctuations into account. An entropy production is introduced for each of these extended dynamics.
