The paper under review deals with the study of some acoustic properties of a particular meta-material. After defining a complex geometry that consists of many small cavities, the authors study the Helmholtz equation in this geometry. One of the main results establishes some acoustic properties of the meta-material. The main arguments in the proofs are related to asymptotic analysis techniques.
