The author introduces strict inductive limits in the context of locally convex cones. The general theory of locally convex cones was developed by Keimel and Roth. The main concepts are recalled in the introduction of this paper. Several results in the spirit of the classical properties established by Dieudonné and Schwartz for strict inductive limits of locally convex spaces are proved. In particular, the strict inductive limit of a sequence of separated locally convex cones is separated. The stability of barrelled locally convex cones in the sense of Roth under the formation of strict inductive limits is also shown.
