The authors in this long and interesting paper study the following difference equations of Lyness' type in \(R_*^+\) \[ u_{n+2}u_n=a+bu_{n+1}+u_{n+1}^2,\quad\text{ and }\quad u_{n+2}u_n=\frac{a+bu_{n+1}+cu_{n+1}^2}{c+u_{n+1}}. \] The purpose of this paper is as follows: (i) An unified treatment of the above two types of difference equations is presented; (ii) a form of chaotic behavior for solutions of above equations is proved; (iii) all possible periods for these solutions of the above equations are to be found. In my opinion, the methods used are different from those studied by \textit{E. A. Grove, E. J. Janowski, C. M. Kent} and \textit{G. Ladas} [Commun. Appl. Nonl. Anal. 1, 61--72 (1994; Zbl 0856.39011)], \textit{M. T. Aboutaleb, M. A. E-Sayed} and \textit{A. E. Hamza} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 261, 126--133 (2001; Zbl 0990.39009)] and \textit{H. M. El-Owaidy, A.
