In this paper, the concept of a distance space is introduced. Under some additional conditions involving many auxiliary objects, the existence of fixed points for multivalued maps is established. Reviewer's remark. It may be true that, as the authors write, the ``fixed point result given here is a genuine generalization'', but unfortunately the result is not justified by any real application, motivation, or natural example.
