The authors discuss the antiplane shear deformation of the piezoelectric material with a crack. The problem is written as a vector-matrix conjugation problem for a second-order elliptic equations. The latter problem is reduced to a system of singular integro-differential equations (SIDE). The decoupling method is applied to decompose this system into a scalar SIDE. The collocation method is used to numerically solve the scalar SIDE.
